Following the temporary closure of the airspace and Kuwait International Airport earlier this morning, flight operations at Jazeera Terminal 5 (T5) have resumed.
The safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew remain our highest priority.
As a result of the earlier disruption, some flights may continue to experience delays or schedule adjustments. Passengers affected by these changes will be contacted directly with their updated travel arrangements.
All passengers are advised to check their flight status before travelling to the airport.

Flight operations at T5 have resumed following a full security clearance under the direction of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA). As always, we remain committed to the safety and wellbeing of our passengers and crew.
Some flights may continue to experience delays or schedule changes as a result of the earlier disruptions. Passengers whose flights have been impacted will be notified directly with their updated travel schedules.

🔷 Due to the temporary closure of airspace in Kuwait, flights scheduled until 5 pm Kuwait time have been suspended.
Passengers booked on these flights will be notified directly with updated travel details.
Until further notice, passengers are advised not to travel to the airport and to await further communication from Jazeera Airways about scheduled flights.

🔷 Travel Update: Resumption of Operations from Terminal 5 (T5)
Following the official confirmation from the authorities on the reopening of Kuwait airspace, we are pleased to announce the phased resumption of flights from Kuwait International Airport Terminal 5 (T5).
Starting 26 April 2026, limited direct flights will operate from Kuwait, while select flights will continue to operate from Kuwait via Damman, Saudi Arabia.

🔷 Important Notice
Following the official confirmation from the authorities on the reopening of Kuwait airspace, Jazeera Airways is resuming direct operations from Terminal 5 (T5) starting 26 April 2026.
While our alternative transit route via Dammam remains fully functional, we are now operating direct flights from Kuwait as well. Full details, schedules, and a list of available destinations will follow shortly.
