Flight delays and cancellations can be stressful, but with Disruption Assistance, you’re in control. Whether you want to rebook quickly or prefer a full refund, this service is designed to give you flexibility when things don’t go as planned.

What is Disruption Assistance?

Add Disruption Assistance when you book your flight and travel with peace of mind. It’s designed to keep things smooth when the unexpected happens. If your flight is delayed or canceled by 2 hours or more, you can rebook with Jazeera Airways or with an airline of your choice, at no extra cost (up to the stated amount per traveler).

Just make sure you rebook at least 24 hours before departure. If the rebooking options aren’t the right fit, you’re eligible for a 100% refund of your trip cost (excluding add-ons). You also get to keep your original flight along with the refund.

How it works

Add the service

When you're on the “Flight Selection” page, just add Disruption Assistance to your trip after choosing your flight. Then continue with your booking as usual.*

Rebooking options

If your flight is delayed or canceled by 2 hours or more, you can rebook at no extra cost with Jazeera Airways or with an airline of your choice. Just make sure you rebook your flight at least 24 hours before departure. The new flight will be covered up to the stated amount per traveler.**

Refund options

If the rebooking options don’t suit your travel plans, you can request a 100% refund of your trip cost. This includes the base fare and taxes only.**

*The cost of Disruption Assistance may vary depending on the trip you’re booking.
** Disruption Assistance does not apply to flights disrupted due to a state of emergency. For those situations, please contact Jazeera Airways directly for support.

What types of disruptions are covered?

The cause doesn’t need to be the airline’s fault, but it must be outside your control. For exceptions, check our Terms & Conditions.

We cover:

Flight delays longer than the time specified when you purchased the service.

Flight cancellations.

What kind of flight alternatives will I get?

You’ll be offered alternative flights that:

Depart from the same origin and arrive at the same
destination.

Fly on the same day or the next day after your original
departure.

Are in the same or similar fare class.

Are priced below the Service Cap you were shown when
purchasing.

Once you choose your preferred option, we’ll rebook you and send a confirmation. Your return flight (if any) stays as originally booked.

Things to know

To be eligible, your flight disruption must occur within 24 hours of your scheduled departure.

You can only use Disruption Assistance once per trip booking.

The maximum value for any rebooked flight is shown per traveler during the booking process.

Rebooked flights must be in the same cabin class as your original ticket.

If you're not satisfied with the rebooking options, you have 24 hours after your last flight lands to request a refund.

Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days.

Getting a refund through Disruption Assistance does not cancel your original flight or any alternative flight offered by Jazeera Airways.

If you rebook a flight, you'll need to retrieve and recheck your luggage for the new flight. Contact the airline for assistance.

If you book a new outbound flight, confirm your return flight with the airline to avoid cancellation due to no-show policies.

Flights disrupted due to a state of emergency are not covered. Please reach out to Jazeera Airways directly in those cases.

Disruption Assistance is a rebooking service, not an insurance product.

This service must be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added later.

You may still be entitled to benefits directly from Jazeera Airways if your flight is delayed or canceled. It's worth checking.
