Travel documents and entry requirements for Amman to Lahore flights

Passport and visa requirements
Before flying from Amman to Lahore, ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Most travelers will need a visa to enter Pakistan. You can check the latest visa requirements and apply online through the official Pakistani e-Visa portal here. For Jordanian citizens traveling from Amman to Lahore, you must obtain a Pakistani visa before departure via Pakistan’s Online Visa System (e‑Visa). Apply through the government portal and carry the approval linked to your passport for airline check‑in and immigration. Ordinary Jordanian passports are not eligible for visa‑on‑arrival at Pakistani airports at present. Pakistan’s previously advertised “Visa Prior to Arrival (VPA)”/fast‑track facility has been suspended, so Jordanians should use the standard e‑Visa route. Ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your intended stay, with a return/onward ticket and supporting documents (e.g., accommodation/host details) as required by the e‑Visa category (tourism, business, family visit, etc.). Diplomatic/official Jordanian passports may have separate arrangements, but ordinary passport holders should not rely on VOA and should complete the online application in advance.
