Passport and visa requirements

Indian citizens traveling from Delhi to Dubai must carry a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry, with sufficient blank pages for stamping. A visa is required unless the traveler qualifies for visa on arrival, which applies only to Indian passport holders who also possess a valid US visa or Green Card, or a valid UK or EU residence permit, each with at least 6 months’ remaining validity. Eligible travelers are issued a 14‑day visa on arrival, extendable once for an additional 14 days. All other travelers must obtain a pre‑arranged UAE tourist visa through approved channels like UAE‑based sponsors, licensed hotels, or authorized travel agencies. Additionally, they need to carry confirmed accommodation and a return or onward ticket for immigration checks.
