Watching your child take their first solo flight can be both exciting and nerve-wracking and at Jazeera Airways, we’re here to make sure it’s a safe, smooth, and reassuring experience every step of the way. Our Unaccompanied Minors service is specially designed for children aged 5 to just under 12 who are traveling alone. Unaccompanied travel is not permitted for those under 5, while those aged 12 to under 16 may travel as Young Passengers if applicable. We ensure they’re cared for with kindness and attention from the moment they check in, through the flight, and until they’re safely reunited with their loved ones.
Please note, as per Egypt’s Passport and Immigration Department, minors under 18 cannot travel alone without a legal guardian. For solo travel to or from Egypt, special permission must be obtained from the General Administration of Passport & Immigration.
You can also book the Unaccompanied Minor service by contacting our call center or through an authorized travel agent.
If booking through these channels, the Unaccompanied Minor form can be completed at the airportduring check-in by the parent or guardian.

Stay at the airport until takeoff
An authorized adult must remain at the departure airport until the flight is airborne. Their name and contact details must match those listed in the Unaccompanied Minor form.
Be present at arrival

In case the authorized adult isn’t present at arrival, parents or guardians must cover any costs related to return transportation, including meals, accommodation, ground transport, and return airfare.
