Flight delays and cancellations can be stressful, but with Disruption Assistance, you’re in control. Whether you want to rebook quickly or prefer a full refund, this service is designed to give you flexibility when things don’t go as planned. 

What is Disruption Assistance?

Add Disruption Assistance when you book your flight and travel with peace of mind. It’s designed to keep things smooth when the unexpected happens. If your flight is delayed or canceled by 2 hours or more, you can rebook with Jazeera Airways or with an airline of your choice, at no extra cost (up to the stated amount per traveler). 

Just make sure you rebook at least 24 hours before departure. If the rebooking options aren’t the right fit, you’re eligible for a 100% refund of your trip cost (excluding add-ons). You also get to keep your original flight along with the refund.

What kind of flight alternatives will I get?

You’ll be offered alternative flights that:
Depart from the same origin and arrive at the same
destination.
Fly on the same day or the next day after your original
departure.
Are in the same or similar fare class.
Are priced below the Service Cap you were shown when
purchasing.

Once you choose your preferred option, we’ll rebook you and send a confirmation. Your return flight (if any) stays as originally booked. 

FAQs

My flight was disrupted, but I didn’t get a notification. What now? +

If you believe your flight was disrupted but didn’t receive a notification, contact Customer Support using your purchase confirmation email. Just make sure the disruption happened on your travel day. If it was more than 24 hours before departure, please contact the airline directly.  

I don’t like the rebooking options. Can I get a refund? +

Yes. If you’re not satisfied with the rebooking options, you’re eligible for a 100% refund of your trip cost (base fare + taxes).   

Please note: Add-ons are not included in the refund.  

I changed my travel plans. Can I still use Disruption Assistance? +

Unfortunately, no. Disruption Assistance only applies to the flights it was originally purchased for. Changes to origin, destination, or travel dates make it invalid.  

I received a refund confirmation but didn’t receive the money after 10 business days. What should I do? +

If your refund hasn’t arrived after 10 business days, please reach out to Customer Support using your purchase confirmation email. We’ll help you sort it out.  

What if my flight is disrupted due to a state of emergency? +

Disruption Assistance does not apply to flights affected by a state of emergency. In such cases, please contact the airline directly. They’ll be best equipped to help you with alternative flights or compensation.  

What if no rebooking options are available? +

If we can’t find any suitable alternatives, you’ll be eligible for a service satisfaction guarantee refund.  

How will I know if my flight is disrupted? +

We’ve got your back. If your flight experiences a disruption, we’ll notify you via email or push notification. You’ll then be able to choose from: 
 

  • A rebooking option through our easy self-serve solution. 

  • A refund if none of the rebooking options work for you. You can still keep your original flight or any other solution offered. 

 

How do I use the Disruption Assistance service? +

If your flight is disrupted on the day of travel and it qualifies for Disruption Assistance, here’s what to do:  

  • Visit Manage Booking.   

  • Use our self-serve tools or speak with an agent to access your options.   

We’ve made it simple so you can get back on track quickly.  

Is the Disruption Assistance fee refundable? +

The Disruption Assistance fee is only refundable if Jazeera Airways cancels the flight. The fee is non-refundable if you cancel the booking yourself.  

Which flights are eligible for Disruption Assistance? +

Most flights are eligible. If Disruption Assistance is available for your trip, you’ll see the option during the booking process. It’s not available after booking, so be sure to add it when you book.

Does Disruption Assistance expire? +
