Visa Requirements

  • A visa is compulsory for almost all nationalities. All visitors must obtain the visa from the Uzbekistan diplomatic mission or online. A system of obtaining electronic-visa is also available, however one has to apply for e-visa at least three day prior to the date of travel.

Getting Around

  • The best way to get around Tashkent is the metro, as it connects all across the city. The mural art in these stations help one to understand the spirit of the city. Tashkent has an excellent network of buses and trams as well. Taxis are also available at a reasonable fare, but public transport is usually prefered among tourists, what better way to discover a city one place at a time.
