Cabin Cleaning Team Leader
Jazeera Airways is looking for a Cabin Cleaning Team Leader to oversee all aircraft cabin cleaning and appearance functions during the shift. The role ensures that cleaning operations are performed efficiently, safely, and in line with airline standards. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader, capable of managing a multi-national cleaning crew, ensuring high-quality cabin presentation, and maintaining strict control over consumable usage and inventory.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Lead and supervise the aircraft cabin cleaning team during aircraft turnarounds, night stops, and deep cleaning operations.
- Ensure cabin interiors meet airline hygiene and presentation standards before departure.
- Assign tasks and monitor performance of cleaning crew during each shift.
- Conduct pre- and post-cleaning inspections to verify service quality.
- Manage and control all cabin cleaning consumables and ensure no wastage.
- Maintain shift-wise stock records and submit inventory usage reports.
- Report cabin defects, damages, or missing items identified during cleaning.
- Ensure all tasks are completed within the allocated turnaround time and meet service level agreements.
- Provide on-the-job training, guidance, and motivation to the cleaning team.
- Enforce compliance with airside safety, FOD control, and PPE usage standards.
- Submit shift performance reports and communicate issues to the Cabin Cleaning Supervisor or Duty Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- At least 3 years of experience in aircraft cabin cleaning or appearance services, with 1 year in a team leader or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of aircraft cabin cleaning procedures and turnaround operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and within tight turnaround times.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced airside environment.
- Valid airside driving permit (preferred).
- Strong team leadership and coordination abilities.
- Effective time and resource management.
