Pricing Specialist

 

Jazeera Airways is seeking a commercially driven and detail-oriented Pricing Specialist to join our Revenue Optimization team. The role is responsible for implementing and managing fare structures, conducting competitive pricing analysis, and supporting revenue-maximizing strategies across our network.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop, manage, and update fare structures and rules across all Jazeera Airways markets in line with commercial and network objectives
  • Monitor market trends and competitor pricing activity, and recommend timely fare adjustments to maintain competitiveness
  • Coordinate with Revenue Management, Network Planning, and Digital teams to execute pricing strategies that enhance yield and market share
  • Load and manage fares, brand-level offerings, and ancillary pricing using Navitaire Sky Fare and Fare Manager Plus
  • Support promotional pricing campaigns and seasonal fare initiatives, ensuring timely implementation and performance tracking
  • Conduct in-depth pricing and revenue performance analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Ensure pricing compliance across GDS, direct channels, and OTAs
  • Work closely with Distribution and IT teams to resolve fare filing discrepancies or system issues promptly


Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Aviation, or a related field
  • 4–5 years of airline experience in Pricing or Revenue Management, preferably in a low-cost or hybrid carrier environment
  • Hands-on experience with Navitaire Sky Fare and Fare Manager Plus is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of fare filing practices, IATA codes, pricing rules, and GDS functionality
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with internal stakeholders
  • Knowledge of regional markets, especially Middle East and South Asia
  • Experience working with Revenue Management systems such as Kambr
