Weight & Balance Dispatcher
 
Jazeera Airways is looking for experienced Weight & Balance Dispatcher who is the shift lead responsible for overseeing all aircraft turnaround and load control activities. This role manages the allocation, supervision, and operational performance of Turnaround Coordinators and Load Controllers during the shift, ensuring all flights are safely and efficiently handled in accordance with Jazeera Airways standards, IATA regulations, and Kuwait DGCA requirements. The position also oversees load control systems, documentation, and reporting for all flights operated within the assigned shift.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate all turnaround and load control activities for the shift, ensuring smooth and on-time operations for all Jazeera Airways flights.
 
- Prepare and publish shift allocations assigning Turnaround Coordinators and Load Controllers for all flights based on aircraft movement and manpower availability.
 
- Ensure each flight is assigned a Turnaround Coordinator from arrival to departure and that boarding bridges are connected promptly for arriving flights.
 
- Act as the shift logistics controller, leading and supporting both Turnaround Coordination and Load Control functions throughout the shift.
 
- Monitor real-time turnaround progress, identify potential delays, and take proactive measures to maintain on-time performance (OTP).
 
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of all load control–related documents (Load Sheets, LIRs, NOTOCs, and other turnaround records).
 
- Oversee the integrity and operational readiness of load control systems and tools; escalate system issues to relevant departments.
 
- Coordinate with OCC, Ramp, Passenger Services, Engineering, and other stakeholders to resolve operational constraints during the shift.
 
- Prepare shift-wise delay reports, record operational irregularities, and perform initial investigations into any delay or deviation.
 
- Maintain compliance with Jazeera Airways SOPs, IATA AHM/IGOM standards, and Kuwait DGCA regulations across all load and turnaround operations.
 
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Aviation Management, Airport Operations, or related field.
 
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in airline or ground operations, including at least 3 years in Load Control and Turnaround Coordination.
 
- Must be a certified and experienced Load Controller with advanced knowledge of aircraft Weight & Balance systems and procedures.
 
- Strong leadership and coordination skills to manage multiple aircraft turnarounds and staff teams simultaneously.
 
- Proficiency in load control and departure control systems (e.g., LDM, CPM, DCS).
 
- Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making abilities under time-critical operational conditions.
 
- Certifications in Ramp Safety, Load Control, Human Factors, and Dangerous Goods Regulations preferred.
 
- Knowledge of IATA AHM, IGOM, and Safety Management Systems (SMS) principles.
