Wheelchair Assistance

At Jazeera Airways, we’re committed to ensuring every passenger enjoys a safe, dignified, and comfortable travel experience. Our Wheelchair Assistance Service supports travelers with reduced mobility from check-in to boarding, and from arrival to exit. If you or someone you’re traveling with has reduced mobility, we’re here to make sure you have a safe and seamless journey.
We’re here to help at every step of the way
At the departure airport
- A trained staff member will meet you at the entrance or check-in counter.
- We’ll assist with check-in, baggage drop, and security clearance.
- You’ll be escorted to the boarding gate and helped onto the aircraft.
At the transit airport
- Our staff will meet you at the aircraft door upon arrival.
- You’ll be guided through the terminal to your connecting flight gate, as well as security and immigration checks.
- We’ll help you access restrooms or refreshment areas if you need a break before your next flight.
At the arrival airport
- Upon landing, our team will assist you with deplaning.
- We’ll help you through immigration, baggage claim, and to your onward transportation.
Wheelchair to aircraft steps (WCHS)
If you can walk short distances but are unable to climb the aircraft steps, we can assist you to the aircraft entrance using a medical high lift.
Full wheelchair assistance to seat (WCHC)
If you need end-to-end support through the terminal, we can assist from check-ins, all the way to the aircraft seat.

Important travelers’ note
Wheelchairs can be booked and purchased both online and at the airport check-in counters.
Personal wheelchairs will be accepted as checked baggage.
Early booking is recommended to ensure service availability and smooth coordination at the airport.
You may use your personal wheelchair or medical aid whenever possible; however, airport wheelchairs are available to take you to the aircraft.
Please ensure that all relevant details about your own wheelchair or medical aid, including batteries, are provided to our team so we can assist you effectively and implement the necessary safety measures.
