Cabin Technical Services Engineer
Jazeera Airways is looking for a Cabin Technical Services Engineer to join our Engineering Services – CAMO team. The role is responsible for providing engineering support for all cabin related technicality including equipment and furnishings, ensuring safety, airworthiness, reliability, and cost-effective operations across the Jazeera fleet.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Monitor fleet cabin configuration changes and maintain accurate technical records.
- Support component acceptance, repairs, overhauls, and warranty claims.
- Provide technical troubleshooting recommendations for cabin equipment and furnishings beyond standard maintenance limits.
- Review and assess Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), and OEM technical publications, and determine fleet applicability.
- Issue in-house engineering documents such as Engineering Orders and Technical Circulars.
- Analyze in-service issues and recommend solutions to improve aircraft performance, dispatch reliability, and component effectiveness.
- Coordinate with aircraft and component manufacturers to support ongoing operations.
- Manage cabin condition standards and contribute to effective cabin maintenance programs.
- Liaise with vendors, service providers, and Part 21J organizations to ensure continuous technical support.
- Actively comply with Safety Management System (SMS) requirements and report hazards, incidents, and safety concerns.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of aviation experience in technical services, out of which 3 years in Cabin System Technical Services.
- Strong knowledge of EASA Part M, EASA Part 145, and Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
- Comprehensive understanding of aircraft technical documentation and regulatory standards.
- Fully conversant in AMOS environment.
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented mindset, and ability to work independently with sound judgment.
