As per updated quarantine process by the Government of Sri Lanka effective 08th April , the Government of Sri Lanka have eliminated the pre-approval process for Sri Lankans returning home including quarantine stay and PCR payment prior to departure. Kindly note that the passenger needs to pay for his/her quarantine stay and PCR upon arrival.
Requirement for passengers travelling to Colombo:

Passengers must hold sufficient funds as listed below for approximately 08days:

Based on the decision of the State of Kuwait, following are the important travel guidelines that all must adhere to for travel into the State of Kuwait:
- Allowed Entry: only Kuwaitis, their first-degree relatives & accompanied domestic workers
- PCR test & certificate issued within 72 hours from the origin station - certificates must be issued from approved laboratories through (MUNA) program
- Register on Kuwaitmosafer & Shlonik apps
- PCR test on arrival KWI
- Following passengers are exempted from institutional-quarantine if they have received Kuwait accredited vaccines:
- 2 doses & passed more than 2 weeks since the 2nd dose
- 1 dose & passed more than 5 weeks since the 1st dose
- Recovered from coronavirus & passed from their recovery a period not exceeding 90 days
- The above passengers exempted from institutional-quarantine are subject to home-quarantine up to 3 days and submission of PCR test certificate
- Arriving from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan & Sri Lanka
- Passengers not allowed to entry, either arriving directly or via another country unless they have resided outside these countries at least 14 days prior arrival into KWI
- Kuwaitis and their first-degree relatives are exempted from the above

As per updated quarantine process by the Government of Sri Lanka effective 08th April , the Government of Sri Lanka have eliminated the pre-approval process for Sri Lankans returning home including quarantine stay and PCR payment prior to departure. Kindly note that the passenger needs to pay for his/her quarantine stay and PCR upon arrival.
Requirement for passengers travelling to Colombo:
Passengers must hold a negative PCR report (test must be conducted within 96 hrs from departure name)
Passengers must register on Kuwait Mosafer – www. kuwaitmosafer.com
Passengers must hold sufficient funds as listed below for approximately 08days:
Approximate cost of accommodation LKR 7,500 per person (sharing basis per night).
Approximate cost of accommodation LKR 12,500 (single occupancy per night).
Approximate cost for the two arrival PCR tests (LKR 15,000).
All cost incurred during the transfers and during the stay needs to be paid by the passenger.

Dear Travel Passengers,
Based on the decision of the State of Kuwait, following are the important travel guidelines that all must adhere to for travel into the State of Kuwait:
- Allowed Entry: only Kuwaitis, their first-degree relatives & accompanied domestic workers
- PCR test & certificate issued within 72 hours from the origin station - certificates must be issued from approved laboratories through (MUNA) program
- Register on Kuwaitmosafer & Shlonik apps
- PCR test on arrival KWI
- Following passengers are exempted from institutional-quarantine if they have received Kuwait accredited vaccines:
- 2 doses & passed more than 2 weeks since the 2nd dose
- 1 dose & passed more than 5 weeks since the 1st dose
- Recovered from coronavirus & passed from their recovery a period not exceeding 90 days
- The above passengers exempted from institutional-quarantine are subject to home-quarantine up to 3 days and submission of PCR test certificate
- Arriving from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan & Sri Lanka
- Passengers not allowed to entry, either arriving directly or via another country unless they have resided outside these countries at least 14 days prior arrival into KWI
- Kuwaitis and their first-degree relatives are exempted from the above
